365 things to do in Wagga #23 – Romano’s presents Loren
Romano’s Hotel has provided some of the best entertainment ever to hit our shores (Murrumbidgee shores of Wagga Wagga that is), so it’s no surprise they’re doing it again.
This Friday night, January 20, 2012, you’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with Loren, as he performs live for one night only.
Down to earth and humble, Loren is a true hard-working troubadour revealing a musical flair that can’t be ignored. Ever evolving and creating, Loren explores a myriad of feels and styles, and his eclecticism makes him hard to categorize.
Loren gives an incredibly personal record through his music with an honesty and depth that shines. He possesses a rare energy onstage that demands attention, and has the natural gift of being able to tell a story in a song with skilful lyrical imagery, while delicately balancing self-expression and audience connection.
With an extraordinary versatile and compelling voice, he absorbs inspiration from worldly destinations, life experiences, from deep within himself and from some of the great songwriters and musicians that walked before him, channeling it into something original, captivating, and dynamic.
When asked to comment on Loren’s music, renowned Australian musician John Butler had this to say, “Loren writes the kind of music that when you listen to it you somehow feel like you¹re getting a massage. A sweet, gentle voice accompanied by relaxed melodically plucked guitar written by a man with a heart of gold. I’ve watched Loren play a few times and am always inspired by how effortless the music is.”
Loren has an impressive collection of festival appearances (often invited back many times), more than fifteen national tours of Australia, two of New Zealand and a recent tour of Canada and the US under his belt and has sold over ten thousand albums independently. He has received national airplay including Triple J, and has played with the likes of Lior, John Butler, Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald and Whitley to name a few.
Supported by Murray Kyle and DJ Mrketekt, this will be a night of unforgettable entertainment. An event not to be missed.

You actually make it seem really easy together with your presentation however I find this matter to be actually something which I think I’d by no means understand. It kind of feels too complicated and extremely huge for me. I’m looking forward to your subsequent publish, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
