365 Things to do in Wagga #25 – Project Paintball
I’m sure you’re all kind, caring, sensitive people at heart, but I’m sure there’s been an occasional or two when you’ve wanted to slap your best friend, your parents, even your brother or sister for the idiotic things they’ve said or done. I’ll admit that I have had these feelings for some time now…
Well, Project Paintball might just be the answer. Instead of slapping them silly, you can raise your gun, steadily take aim and bask in the intense satisfaction of shooting them (with tiny balls of paint that is)!
Paintball is essentially a tactical game, which can be played socially or competitively. At Project Paintball, there are various game modes, and a number of different fields on which to ‘play’, providing you with a wide variety to suit your level of skill (or lack thereof).
Located on Gillard Road, less than five minutes from the centre of Wagga, Project Paintball provides a massive undercover briefing area, well maintained toilet facilities, a wide variety of beverages for sale and a barbeque area available for booking. They even have a direct deal with Eagle Boys, so there’ll be pizza waiting for you when the battle is won…or lost.
Base packages start from $44, however if you choose to go all Rambo for the day, the Total Warfare Pack might just be the one for you. At $220 you’ll have 1500 paintballs and a distinct advantage over everyone else.
Whichever pack you choose, you’re sure to have a fun-filled day, and can always top up your ammo if your finger’s a little heavy on the trigger. And, if you’re afraid of a little pain, don’t be. Just don’t get shot. It’s that simple.
