If your attempts at painting a flower unintentionally end up more abstract than realistic, fear not. Your technique can be improved, and if not….art is subjective, so your crappy flower could be on par with a Van Gogh masterpiece through someone else’s eyes.
If you would like to improve your abilities and realise your potential, find a new hobby, explore your creativity and awaken your inner artist, or simply meet new people, then have you considered art classes?
Best Street Studios is a creative hub located in the centre of Wagga, offering a comprehensive range of term courses and weekend workshops in a nurturing and relaxed environment. Their philosophy is based on making art accessible to all people within the community, while helping people develop friendships, share experiences and knowledge, and inspire one another (we love wagga).
Adult term classes occur four times a year, with Term One starting on February 14, running for 8 weeks. These classes allow you to develop and explore an idea you may have, allowing you to work on self-directed projects, or work together with the rest of the class on projects covering a broad range of mediums.
Weekend courses are available for those unable to commit to a full term, and there are even courses for the young budding artist with after school and school holiday courses available.
In addition to these courses, as part of their philosophy to make art more accessible, Best Street Studios will bring the art to you. Kathryn Powderly, known for her hands-on fun workshops, regularly travels to conduct art workshops for community groups, schools, preschools and other education institutes.
