365 things to do in Wagga #40 – Wagga’s monster garage sale
If you have hoarder tendencies, or your garage is overflowing with all the things you’ve accumulated over the last few years, don’t wait for spring to do a big clean-out.
Wagga’s annual monster garage sale, held every February, is the perfect way to remove your unwanted goods, and all for a good cause. All items donated will help the Inter-Church Council raise funds for a specialist teacher, who visits Wagga’s three public high schools to teach scripture.
Plus you’ll have the chance to find yourself a great bargain. With thousands of items for sale at discount prices, there’s everything from sports and camping gear, to collectables, antiques, books and household items.
This year’s event is on Saturday February 25, 2012, at the Baptist Church, 154 Tarcutta Street. Open from 8.00am – 3.00pm, the sale will also feature a cake stall, car wash and sausage sizzle.
